In preparation for U14+ speed week at Crabbe, and subsequent super G events, any athletes intending to rent Super G skis from MSRC are asked to email Steve Earle, our equipment manager, at searle@wclbauld.com
Please include the athlete name, age category, height, DIN setting, and boot sole length. Coaches will use this info, as well as consider athlete ability, to match up athletes with equipment to ensure we maximize the use of available equipment and minimize adjustments.
Throughout the evening Wednesday, during regular training, athletes will be asked to go into the race shack in small groups to pick up gear. Should regular training be cancelled due to rainy weather, we will still hold an equipment session at the race shack.
Athletes are reminded that equipment rentals are $50/event and that is the responsibility of the athlete to have the skis adjusted at a professional ski shop to their boot and DIN setting PRIOR to departure for Speed week. Eddie Fleet at the Ski Martock shop is the closest option.
