U18/U21 Alpine Program

Overview

MSRC’s U18/U21 programs continue on the skills acquired in the U16 program with skier development based on Alpine Canada’s (ACA) AIM 2 WIN – a long-term skier development plan (LTAD). Our U19/U21 program targets the needs of athletic skiers who we consider to be entering the “Train to Race” phase of their development. The program focuses on building upon each individual’s skill as an athlete and provides an introduction to skiing as a profession. It is focused and committed to creating athletic, proficient skiers with refined technical, mental and physical skills. Racers will be encouraged to pursue professional certification courses in ski instruction and alpine ski coaching.
