The MSRC pre season camp scheduled for December 18-22nd at Mont Farlagne in Edmundston NB has been cancelled.
Unfortuantley, due to public hearth measures in NB, it is not possible to offer our first pre season training camp. NB is currently requiring 14 day isolation for anyone travelling from Nova Scotia, additionally, Edmundston (Zone 4) has moved into the Orange recovery phase due to a recent outbreak at the local hospital. As such non essential travel in and out of that area is not permitted at this time.
We continue to monitor the situation in NS and NB as it relates to our second pre-season camp at Farlagne scheduled for December 28-31st and will provide an update around December 23rd.
We have contacted the hotel to advise that the group will not be travelling and the room block for later this week can be released however, for anyone who had booked hotel rooms for the first camp is reminded that they should cancel them on their own.
In the meantime, we will continue with our Zoom dryland sessions which all athletes can particpate in on Wednesdays and Sundays and hope for cold weather locally so we can get training at Martock!
