U10 and U12 Additional Pre-Race Training Session - Wednesday Feb 10th 6:00pm

Good afternoon everyone,
We will be adding an additional training session for athletes in the U10 or U12 program who would like some additional pre race training prior to the MSRC race this weekend. The session will be tomorrow (Wednesday, Feb 10th) evening from 6-8:30pm. There will not be any fee for the session however we will be limiting the registration numbers in each age group to ensure we have sufficient coaching.
We understand this is short notice, but given the lack of training opportunities in race gates so far this year we felt it important for those who are interested to have an additional opportunity before the weekend. It is also not a requirement or needed to participate in the race this weekend so there should not be any presure on any family to participate tomorrow in this additional session.
Please note that the session will be focusing on skiing through a race course for the majority of the evening.
U12 athletes will be cycling through the training race course and riding the chair/t-bar on their own. Coaches will be generally positioned on the course to provide athlete feedback and athletes are expected to cycle on their own.
U10 athletes will be with their coaches as the train through the evening, however there will be times when coaches will be at the top or bottom of the course watching athletes until the entire group has completed the course. It can also be a late night/long day for some of our youngest athletes so please do consider these factors as you make your decision.

For anyone in the U12 program who has purchased multiple Wednesday additional training packs, this will will not count towards the total paid Wendesday training sessions.
